My Family

Hi everyone! I'm Lisa. I live in a small, but fast-growing town in Pennsylvania. I live here with my husband, Bernie, and my two teenage sons, Brad and Chris. Bernie and I are part of a diminishing breed here----"locals". We were both born and raised in Pennsylvania. That's becoming very rare for our area. My father was born in a farmhouse in Newfoundland, Pennsylvania. My mother was born in the "coal town" of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Bernie, Brad, Chris and I live in a beautiful Cape Cod that Bernie and I designed ourselves. The house sits on an acre+ of wooded property in a small development. Bernie builds homes for a living. I sell Avon and work part-time in our high school's cafeteria. Yes, kids, I'm one of those infamous "lunch ladies". Our oldest son, Brad, is 16. He's a great student and very interested, not surprisingly, in cars and trucks. Our youngest son, Chris, is 14. He's an honor roll student who's crazy about airplanes and flying. We have one family pet. Honey is an overweight, loveable cat.

I have a wide variety of hobbies and interests. I love to read, write and do crafts. I've baked and decorated cakes for years. I love getting creative with them. I hunt on property my grandfather owned and passed down to my father. A favorite pastime for me and my family is camping. We own a 26' travel trailer. We usually go camping with friends. One of my favorite things is my computer. I'm fairly new at it. But, I think I'm learning pretty fast.
